05 General notes
  • Scripts: Ross will supply first-draft scripts for all 16 Joe founder video topics ahead of the shoot. A short review call will follow to lock wording before the 27th.
  • Pearl's alarm: Pearl Chew must be given a specific arrival window prior to Day 2 so she can disable the alarm system. Tripti to coordinate.
  • Clothing (Joe): Bring one light and one dark shirt. Avoid bright white. Light colours work well against green grass and black fencing. Joe to choose on the day based on conditions.
  • Weather: Winter Hunter Valley. Sunset approx 5:10 pm. Magic hour on Day 1 (Tony property) is the primary priority shot. Early morning frost/dew on Day 2 at Pearl's is a bonus if conditions allow.
  • Camera: Shooting open gate 7K. Stills can be extracted from footage or captured separately as dedicated stills (see separate quote for photography options).
  • Day 2 note: 28 July is Joe Crisp's wedding anniversary. Day 2 is confirmed, with a 4:00 pm wrap target to keep the day manageable.
  • Drone operations: Drone footage will be captured across both shoot days. Property owners are asked to confirm their consent to drone use on their land prior to the shoot. We also ask that each property owner notifies their immediate neighbours in advance that a drone will be operating nearby. Neighbours' properties will not be filmed.
  • Accommodation: Ross Dwyer and James Bentley will be based in Newcastle for the duration of the shoot.
  • Emergency contact: Ross Dwyer, rossco@madhatter-films.com
